Cabin Fever

If its not the crappy weather it getting a flat tire while walking home in the crappy weather...

Cabin fever is starting to set in a bit with the lack of BMX action during the week so i have been busying myself with with the Streetphire Time-lapse 'Assignment'.

Went out in the week down towards the Quayside and shot some things with Cooper. Be good to see what other people come up with too... :-)

Stumbled upon a good interview with Mutiny's Joe Simon this morning about the recent web video that he just released and he explains how he shot a lot of the more technical shots and just what he used to accomplish this... :-) Im looking forward to what he has in store for us in the coming months!

Ride BMX 'Insight' DVD

Just watched Ride BMX's new video 'Insight' by Ryan Navaz, and its a treat!

All the sections are crazy and the overall production is really good! Very similar to Navaz's last video 'Left Right' but it's still really fresh!

This is a few clips from todays riding where we went to this newly discovered spot in Newcastle that Mexican John stumbled upon, previously unrideable, John was quite excited when the land that it is on became disused and we were able to have a good session in the sun. Not long into the session my chain snapped as i was pedaling for the flat bank which sucked, as it was brand new! Not having any tools or spare links to speak of, i concentrated on getting some footage of John.
Thanks to John for taking us there! I will definitely be heading back there with a fresh chain!
